We at Village Chapel Baptist Church are thankful you are visiting our site. We are grateful because we believe that every person who comes into this special fellowship of believers was sent by God Himself. It is not by accident that you have found our site. Even in this current national health crisis, we are still meeting together in Christian fellowship and love. So, above all else, we want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We are eager to meet you and would like the opportunity to share with you the wonderful ways that God has chosen to work in our church.
Village Chapel began as a Bible study in May 2002. We held our first service on June 30, 2002 in a remodeled barn. We remained there for the summer of 2002. Our church moved to Francestown Elementary School in September 2002 where we remained until May 2006.
We began to meet at Weare Middle School on the 2nd Sunday of May in 2006. The construction of the new middle school building necessitated our move into the Center Woods Elementary School for the summer of 2007.
We moved into the Twin Bridge facility for the first Sunday in October 2007. In 2019 we moved our service location back to Weare Middle School as a temporary location while we seek God’s guidance regarding a permanent location. We are temporarily meeting together via Zoom conferencing technology. Contact us for an invite, and we would gladly welcome you to “tune in”!
It won’t take you long to discover that this is truly a family, rich in relationships that matter most. Studying God’s Word together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you as well. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open, too. If you’ve been searching for a church that desires to hear and obey God’s Word and where you can belong, we say…WELCOME!
