S - Saved by Grace
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

A - Advancing the Gospel
Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth ; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

L - Loving One Another
John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

T - Transforming the World
Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

At Village Chapel Baptist Church, the goal for our teens and young adults is to not only come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ by faith, but to love one another and to transform the world by living by Biblical principles and sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus with others.

In Matthew 5:13, The Lord stated "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour , wherewith shall it be salted ? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men." As Christians, we should not blend in with the world. We should affect those around us positively, just as seasoning brings out the best flavor in food. We seek to accomplish this goal through our weekly Bible studies, prayer and accountability partners, church and community ministry opportunities, and monthly outreach activities.
